Does SayIt work without cell signal?

SayIt requires a data connection to work. The good news is that the responses are lightweight — they're not streaming video or loading heavy files — so even a weak LTE signal is usually enough.

In most residential neighborhoods, techs will have usable signal. For jobs in rural areas or basements with poor signal, most techs have found that connecting to the customer's WiFi resolves any issues.

We're aware that field conditions vary and are working on features that will help in lower-connectivity situations. If signal is a consistent issue for your team in your area, it's worth discussing during your trial.
