About Mike Torres
"Mike Torres" is a pen name — the consistent byline on SayIt's field-research blog.
Every post is built from the same source: hundreds of conversations with home-service owners, field technicians, and operators. Ride-alongs. Coaching sessions. Interviews. Phone calls that turned into 90-minute rabbit holes.
We use a single byline so readers have a coherent voice to follow. The "Mike Torres" perspective is the synthesis — not one person's career.
Why we disclose this
Most B2B blogs hide behind composite authors without saying so. We don't want to. If you're going to take advice from a blog, you deserve to know where it comes from.
The posts are honest. The perspective is curated. The byline is a pen name, and we're telling you.
Who's actually writing
The SayIt team — founders, product people, and the field researchers they work with. When a specific operator's insight drives a post, we credit them by name or profile when we have permission.
